According to the NCC Department of Geospatial Information Systems and Spatial Data Infrastructures (GIS and SDI), following the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding on the implementation of Article 11 of the Law on Permanent Provisions of the Country Development Plans by the Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs of Plan and Budget Organization, now there is significant progress in the performance of the provinces in increasing the number of shared layers, the participation of the provincial organizations and the completion of the needs assessment forms, the status quo and the data model.
With the continuous cooperation of specialists and experts of the Department of Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) and Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDI) in the National Cartographic Center, the performance of the provinces in increasing the number of participating organizations and their participation rate in establishing the National Geoportal, increase in the provided spatial services and completing needs assessment forms has been very significant.
Based on the approaches governing the launch of National and Provincial Geoportals, the plan and budget Organization of provinces, after participating in the National Geoportal, contribute in culture building and justification of representatives of other provincial bodies to participate in the National Geoportal. With the participation of provincial agencies in the National Geoportal, provincial agencies provide their spatial services and in parallel with all these steps, all provincial agencies complete the needs assessment forms, announce their status quo and data model
